The CHROMIC Podcast – Episode 6 is aimed of giving a coherent overview of the technology core of the CHROMIC Project. After pre-treatement (WP2 activities, on which you can find out more listening to episode 1) and leaching techniques (WP3, listen to episodes 4 and 5), we spoke with HZDR’s chemist dr. Norman Kelly about high selective recovery, and in particular about solvent extraction, one of the chemical techniques tested in our project.

The CHROMIC Podcast is back. The first episode of 2019 will let you know ozonation leaching, one of the many leaching techniques tested in our project. The second part of the podcast is about the stakeholders dialogue, an important step of the dissemination and societal trust activities.

With Pavel Ivascheckin (BFI), Andrea Miškufová (TUKE) and Federica Manzoli (formicablu).

Here is the fourth episode of the CHROMIC podcast. In the first part, we discover what leaching is, how it works and why to extract metals from a matrix is (almost) like to prepare a good cup of tea. The second part of the podcast talks about some events held in Slovakia in which CHROMIC has been presented. With Pavel Ivashechkin (BFI) and Andrea Miškufová (TUKE).

Here is the third episode of the CHROMIC podcast. In the first part, we talk about the Molybdenum, Vanadium and Niobium value chains. The second part of the podcast is about the community involvement plan.

With An Vercasterlen (VITO) and Federica Manzoli (formicablu).

Here is the second episode of the CHROMIC podcast. We talk about the work done so far and about the chromium value chain, of which you can also find an image above.

With Liesbeth Horckmans (VITO, CHROMIC coordinator) and An Vercasterlen (VITO).
